How to use socks with Safari in OS X
Safari is a popular Web browser for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Here is how you can set it up to use SOCKS proxy in OS X environment to unblock websites or another network services.
Note that Safari itself does not allow working with proxy settings. To do this, you need to set the system-wide proxy in System Preferences.
Go to Network

Then choose your connection, then select Advanced, and Proxies:
In the SOCKS Proxy Server field on the right, type your IP address and proxy port. Now this setting will be activated for Safari.
If your proxy supports authorization, then type your username and password too.
